Chia
A mild-tasting microgreen. They are a great choice for brain and heart health as they contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids which are imperative for organ health. They also contain high levels of calcium. Chia contains generous amounts of protein.
Kale
A mild green that contains vitamins A, C, K1,and B6, along with minerals, fiber, antioxidants, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, and manganese.
Broccoli
A fresh, mild, broccoli-flavored microgreen. They are favored for their health benefits, being a great source of sulforaphane (anti-cancer agent), vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, copper, and zinc. Regular consumption of these can help reverse chronic illnesses.
Kohlrabi
A bolder-tasting green with a mild radish flavor. They include antioxidants, fiber, vitamins A, C, and B-complex, calcium, potassium, and copper. They support physical and mental health, are immune building, energy-pumping, bone-strengthening, fight cancer, improve heart health, decrease the risk of diabetes, lower blood sugar, and improve both liver and kidney function.
Radish
These greens have a flavor similar to radishes and are an excellent source of vitamins A, C, E, and K, along with calcium, iron, and dietary fiber. They also contain high levels of antioxidants that reduce inflammation in the body. They support eye and skin health, healthy blood sugar levels, and aid in digestion and detoxification via the kidneys and liver.
Arugala
The spiciest green that tastes like the larger arugula leaves you would add to a salad. It is a brassica and therefore contains sulforaphane (an anti-cancer agent). It has almost eight times the calcium, five times the vitamins A, C, and K, along with four times the iron in iceberg lettuce.
